She has practically spent a decade being pregnant: at the age of 31, Britni Church from Arkansas City, Kansas, is already a mother to 11 children and hopes to add three more to her extensive family.
Britni frequently shares glimpses of her life with her large family on her Instagram page, where she has amassed a following of over 7,000 people.
A mother of 11, Britni Church, aged 31, residing in Arkansas City, Kansas, expressed her desire for more children, even though nearly a decade of her life has been spent pregnant.
Her journey began at the age of 16 when she welcomed her first daughter, Crizman, just days after her birthday. Since then, Britni has joyfully expanded her family to include 10 more children—Jordan (14), Caleb (13), Jace (12), Cadence (10), Jesalyn (eight), Christopher (three), and one-year-old triplets Oliver, Asher, and Abel. Remarkably, she has spent approximately 10 years of her life pregnant.
Despite the challenges and expenses associated with raising a large family, Britni admitted that she dreams of having up to 15 children. To support her brood of 11, Britni and her second husband, 28-year-old Chris Church, spend $300 per week on groceries, which includes five cereal boxes, 66 milk cartons, and 600 diapers.
"I hope we try to have another girl yet. I don’t think I have more than 15 children, but I never thought I would have 11 children," she said. "It doesn’t feel like you have many children, it feels normal. If any of the children said, ’you can no longer have‘, I would accept that it is too much."
Britni had her first child, Crizman, at 16 with her ex-husband in 2004. The couple had married just five days earlier and had four more children together—Jordan, Caleb, Jace, and Cadence.
After the couple separated in 2010, Britni unexpectedly became pregnant with her sixth child, Jesalyn, in 2012, during a carefree phase. She spent three years as a single mother before meeting her husband, Chris, in 2014. Together, they had their first child, Silas, in 2015, followed by Christopher in 2016 and the surprise triplets—Oliver, Asher, and Abel—in June of the following year.
"I was very embarrassed to get pregnant the sixth time because I always wanted my children to have the same father," Britni confessed. "But when Jesalyn was born, she was so innocent, precious, and beautiful. All the shame went away immediately. She was perfect. I stopped caring what people thought. I love having a big family; there is always someone to talk to."
Britni's day begins at 7 a.m., caring for the triplets before preparing breakfast for her 11 children and checking emails over a quick coffee. She manages twelve loads of laundry per week, while Chris oversees the school routines for all the kids. After lunch, Britni reads to the triplets, puts them to sleep, and enjoys some of her hobbies, such as crocheting.
The family shares meals at a table custom-made by Chris for thirteen people and travels in a Ford Transit purchased last year after the birth of the triplets. Each child currently shares a room in their five-room house, but Britni and Chris plan to convert the attic and basement into additional rooms as the triplets grow up.
Britni continues to share snapshots of her family's life on her Instagram page, where she has gained more than 7,000 followers.
"If things go well, we hope to build a country house next to a large pond, as Chris loves to fish. We would love to have some animals too. Maybe two dogs and a cat would be a good start."
